We are a three-form entry primary school in the heart of Croydon, catering for children aged between 4 and 11. This year we are at full capacity and have welcomed our first year 6 cohort. At Chestnut Park we have a passionate and dedicated team of staff who make great efforts to support the children to achieve their full potential by ensuring they are inspired by what they are learning. This is underpinned by an innovative tailored-made curriculum that has been created to engage, excite, and inspire the children. It gives them the opportunities and experiences, and teaches them a range of skills and knowledge to reinforce their love and passion for learning. We are incredibly proud of our children at Chestnut Park and delighted to say that our children see our school as a safe place to be. Somewhere where they feel happy and valued. We continue to believe in setting the highest possible standards in everything we do, ensuring our children can be the best they can be through the embedded school values of: self-control, tolerance, respect, awareness of others, no one left out and growing friendships. In June 2018 we were proud to be judged as OUTSTANDING in our Ofsted inspection - a true reflection of our tireless commitment to the children and their education journey. At Chestnut Park Primary School, we believe in working with the local community to ensure school is a place 'where children grow, learn and flourish together'. This ethos is embedded within our vision, values and aims. A whole school focus on language development ensures our children make good progress throughout their time at Chestnut Park.
