Job Description
Our administration team are pivotal to our work in providing first line contact to people who call us, and in providing a comprehensive, professional and effective administration service to our Senior Medical staff, Consultants and Middle Grade Doctors and the Multidisciplinary Team.
You will have experience and skill in these key areas:
- Full secretarial service to the Clinical team, including administrative support to Consultant Psychiatrists and Team.
- Excellent typing/document editing skills.
- Paris electronic patient records database (full training will be given)
- Microsoft Office package
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask meeting notes with other secretarial duties.
- The post holder will be required to work as part of admin team and support other secretaries’ workloads during times of absence.
- To be able to work independently, using own initiative and undertake non-routine duties without direct supervision, working within broad procedural guidelines.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate that they can priorities and manage their own workload whilst maintaining a positive, professional and calm approach.
- Excellent IT skills, a good working knowledge of Microsoft office and accurate copy and audio typing skills are essential.
- This is a very busy and varied role, responsible for all aspects of administration.
- You will be working in an open plan office area and must display a considerable degree of initiative and judgment and maintain a friendly disposition when dealing with staff and service users, their relatives and visitors.
