Job Description
  • Works cross-functionally with business partners to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and target setting for the international infrastructure and applications business
  • The position requires strong analytical problem solving, business process improvement, and overall strong thought leadership.
  • Partner with regions, business units, business partners and company corporate to assist in developing, analyzing and validating new business opportunities.
  • Produce and present functional and product financials (P&L, BS, Cash flow), from current performance to future forecasts, including tracking against product investment business cases
  • Manage regular reforecasts and build long range plans and annual budgets, developing and managing forecasting processes with the business to deliver to corporate finance requirements and timelines
  • Support board and corporate presentations through development of long-range plans and business analyses
  • Work with Business Owners, Account Managers and Global stakeholders in support of timely and accurate preparation of financial models and Business Case modelling and support
  • Proactively drive strategy and process improvements
  • Provide financial and commercial analysis to other teams including Operations & Technology finance, Product & Engineering Finance, Controllership and GBSC shared services
  • Develop and manage strong business partner relationships with respect to inquiries, reporting and ad hoc requests

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Relevant qualification in finance, business, accounting with professional membership
  • Good understanding of analysis, reporting, forecasting and budgeting
  • The role requires understanding different business approaches, financial models and requires excellent team integration and support capability
  • Capability to provide a balanced perspective from both a customer/Account Manager perspective and a finance organization perspective
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Highly proficient using MS Excel. Experience in using Oracle, Hyperion and/or SmartView would be beneficiary
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and accuracy and to manage multiple activities in a condensed timeframe
  • Highly organized, strong data management and analysis skills
  • Fast learner and able to link diverse sources of information to understand business trends including the ability to handle confidential information and materials
  • Team oriented with the ability to communicate effectively and develop solid working relationships across multiple levels (including executive level)
