Job Description
  • Supports the PSM(Primary and Small Molecules manufacturing) supply chain strategy and alignment with business needs.
  • Supports franchise supply chain in development of PSM network strategy and cost per unit roadmap per site.
  • Leads the three-year plan process and target-setting for each site and market in PSM supply chain.
  • Ensures a balance between delivery of short-term financial commitments and long-term value.
  • Supports customer supply chain team to drive high quality process and to drive the right discussions with Commercial on supply volumes, forecast reliability, inventory and business waste.
  • Leads the annual target-setting process to allocate resources across PSM supply chain for the most optimal return and aligned to enterprise strategy and priorities. Drives decision-making and dynamic resource allocation in the monthly capital governance forum for PSM.
  • Leads annual standard-setting process for all sites in PSM.
  • Drives engagement with Commercial Finance team to explain key drivers in standard cost update and alignment on business financials.
  • Leads the monthly performance reviews within PSM to assess performance delivery versus targets and to determine tactical plans and interventions as needed to drive performance.
  • Responsible for formal sign-off of monthly, quarterly and full year P&L and Balance Sheet for PSM.
  • Supports franchise and global planning in setting of inventory targets across sites and end-to-end markets and in effective execution along with tactical interventions when needed.
  • Supports customer supply chain team in Emerging Markets to optimize cost-to-serve and delivery of savings initiatives.
  • Provides financial leadership, coaching, counsel, and support to the PSM leadership team, franchise, site leadership teams and customer supply chain team within PSM.
  • Represents PSC finance in Asia Finance Board and Asia Finance talent forum.
  • Leads finance transformation in PSM and ensures alignment in ways of working with Finance Target Operating Model. Drives engagement with hubs and Global Finance Services to ensure effectiveness of finance processes.
  • Leads adherence to internal control framework and compliance with local and statutory accounting guidelines, as well as adherence to finance manual.
  • Provides finance leadership to strategic projects when needed, like deals and divestments. Ensures finance leadership in all governance forums over strategic projects like CommCell, PSC Separation and network projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Extensive professional finance experience at a senior level.
  • Experienced in working in a manufacturing and customer supply chain environment.
  • Experienced in Finance Partnering in a complex & diverse manufacturing environment across multiple countries and multiple functions.
  • Capability to lead and work in a complex matrix environment.
  • Ability to work cross-culturally with diverse teams while driving inclusion.
  • Externally focused with an enterprise mindset as opposed to working in functional silos
  • Demonstrated financial knowledge of modelling, analysis, evaluation, forecasting, strategic planning, and decision making.
  • Ensures good flow of information for proactive identification of issues.
  • Uses business and financial knowledge to identify new value-added opportunities and gets business to engage and deliver.
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Drives engagement to obtain buy-in to ideas and solutions.
  • Provides constructive challenge and drives new opportunities, improvements and ideas.
  • Ability to lead and drive transformational change and cultural development.
  • Passionate about developing finance talent and finance partnering capabilities.
  • Understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI.
  • Experience within a similar organization and role.
