Ensuring that working practices meet requirements of medicines legislation as well as professional, local and national guidelines.
Implementing necessary changes, thereby ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive, high quality service.
Provide professional leadership and management of all aspects of P&D services for all staff members who work within the area. This includes pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pre-registration staff, trainee pharmacists and support workers.
Management of regional and national contracts and ensuring departmental compliance.
Ensuring that appropriate training is provided and documented for all staff working in the area.
Promote excellence within the P&D department and model behaviors of continuous learning and improvement to others.
Represent company at regional and national levels and participate in the wider strategic agenda for pharmacy technicians
