Job Description

The primary objective of ESG integration is to improve the way investment analysts and fund managers consider, analyse and use ESG information to support their investment decision-making from the initial idea generation through to company analysis, as well as portfolio construction and stewardship. The ESG Integration Manager works with investors across our business to drive broad and deep ESG integration.
We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic candidate for this role. Reporting to the Head of ESG Integration, the candidate will be responsible for driving ESG integration across investment desks in close collaboration with the fund manager and analysts.

The role sits in the Sustainability team which has expanded to 22 people, covering a wide range of activities from thematic research, company analysis, portfolio monitoring, screening, corporate governance actions, client communication and marketing and discussions with policy makers and other stakeholders. Our primary focus is working with analyst and fund manager colleagues to strengthen investment decisions through effective analysis and integration of ESG issues in investment processes.

• Support the implementation of the Sustainable Investment team's ESG integration strategy, and on-going refinement and expansion of the strategy to reflect evolving investor needs and the Sustainable Investment team's resources and outputs.
• Act as a bridge between the Sustainable Investment team and investment desks and ensuring clear two-way communication channels.
• Work with investment teams to support deeper understanding of ESG and use of our proprietary tools and analysis, to ensure they are reflected in investment processes.
• Be responsible for creating and implementing specific ESG integration desk plans based on identified objectives and requirements with individual investment desks.
• Provide advice and support to investment desks and to the Head of ESG Integration with regards to the accreditation framework and processes.
