Job Description

We are looking for a Project Administrator to work within our busy project team. The candidate will be responsible for completing administrative tasks to support the project team. This will involve liaising with landowners, submitting way leave applications, helping to prepare job packs and other administrative tasks.

We need a self-motivated individual who can work both on their own and as part of a team.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Use online portals to request permits and issue notifications.
  • Make use of Land Registry, planning authority and utility company websites to assist the field teams with site acquisitions and planning.
  • Accurately complete and submit way leave documents.
  • Request quotations and raise orders for power supplies.
  • Proactively monitor and pursue outstanding information by phone or email.
  • Provide weekly status reports for tasks in process.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues and external consultants.
  • Complete other general project administration work as required.
  • Help company expand by selling the product when possible.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Attention to detail and a persistent approach to following up enquiries. Understanding of the planning process is useful but not essential. Strong IT literacy, especially Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Project, etc.). Very good levels of English (written and spoken) and detailed report writing. Sound basic mathematics. Organization skills. Ability to work under pressure. Quick Learner. Good telephone manner.
