Job Description

Applicants must have recent experience and knowledge of dental software (we use exact), excel, word, email and cash / credit card handling.

Main duties to include

-reception duties, taking payments, managing diaries, cash reconciliation , keeping records up to date, supervising nurses on reception

-Organizing staff , rotas , holidays , hours training etc.

-Compliance and training

-Completing logs

-Audits and reviews

-Supporting practice owner

-Staff management and motivation

- Day to day surgery tasks

- Administrative duties

- Liaison with regulators and NHS and PCT

- Ordering and stock control

- ensure smooth running and operation of practice

Additional pay:

  • Commission pay

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Previous experience of managing staff including, induction, managing performance, training and disciplinary procedures - Compliance work - Excellent time keeping and attendance record - Confidence and experience in the use of computer word packages including word, excel and email - Cash handling, reconciliation and daily record keeping -Problem solving skills -Good leadership -Attention to detail -Working to time limits -Previous experience of NHS dental services and compliance requirements -Audits, logs and keeping policies up to date for cqc and data security Experience of dental packages we use exact - applicants must have knowledge of EXACT Experience: manager: 2 years (Preferred)
