We are looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our team to ensure the accurate management of the UK Group’s centralized asset processes, including fixed assets, leases and capital expenditure, plus reporting of Group fixed assets.
What you’ll do
Main duties will include:
Adhere to company policies, finance policies, processes, procedures and timetables
Balance Sheet reconciliation and justification for asset related accounts
Maintain CapEx Request Platform and transfer data to SAP
Process asset commissioning, acquisitions, transfers, disposals, lease postings etc. through SAP
Create asset records and validate WBS elements within the SAP System
All other reporting for own contracts
Participate in move from incumbent ERP system (SAP) to Workday

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A part qualified ACCA (F1-9 done) or CIMA Accountant (Management Level complete). Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google. Must be able to work unsupervised, in an organised way, whilst still being committed to delivering within set, stringent and demanding deadlines. Accuracy is key, as is an organised approach and the ability to manage several coterminous tasks. Strong interpersonal skills are required to liaise confidently with other parts of the Business. An awareness of how to produce related Financial and Statutory asset notes. Must have an inquiring and analytical mind, and be able to demonstrate good attention to detail. Knowledge of SAP or dedicated Fixed Asset software preferred. An innovative and proactive nature is desired. Some commercial acumen is preferred, though knowledge of the wider business could be developed. Experience: accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
