Job Description

We're working with a small, but growing family business, who operate across Europe in the freight and logistics space.

They have created a brand-new role, and they're looking for someone to take responsibility of some of the day to day to running of the business.

It'll be part time initially - but may have the opportunity to become full time depending on your situation.

The role is based at their Shenstone Warehouse, surrounded by farmland. There's a brand-new shiny office they've built too, and that's where you'll be based. It'll be a really flexible role once you're up to speed.

Working alongside the Director, you'll engage with all areas of the business and run it operationally, alongside the back office, but don't worry - full training will be given.

From taxing vehicles, to producing payroll information for the accountants. You'll be responsible for everything in between.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You'll need to have telephone experience too, ideally negotiating skills as there will be lots of incoming / outgoing enquires where you'll need to think on your feet. Ideally you will need to be more than comfortable with Excel, and Sage would be beneficial for the accounts work you’ll be doing. It's not a prerequisite to have Sage though as it can be taught. You'll be a people person, who is happy to get their sleeves rolled up and solve problems.
