· Partner all areas of the business and key stake holders to deliver a Health and Safety service in line with the needs and priorities of TSS. You will translate business requirements into effective, compliant Health and Safety practices, delivering solutions aligned to business objectives and relevant legislation.
·Hold responsibility for the coordination of industry accreditations and awarding body inspections such as (but not inclusive to) SEDEX, NSI, ACS, ESOS, Safe contractor and Altius. Work with auditors for the coordination of inspections ensuring a working group is consulted and involved in the preparation and visit. Attend necessary forums to ensure knowledge is kept updated and any changes are communicated across the business.
·Have experience or willing to learn fast how to work with our insurance provider in the processing of any employer and public limited claims including the investigation, collating of evidence and document preparation.
·Manage Health and Safety documentation including assignment instructions, ensuring risk assessments and audits are conducted on sites with consistent monitoring and reporting on how risks could be reduced.
·Advise and train employees on best practice in Health and Safety in line with current Health and Safety legislation. To raise awareness on site for all employees, in particular to their individual responsibilities and ensuring that all Health and Safety supplies are ordered and maintained.
·Ensure compliance with GDPR across the business and with all employees by training, publishing, and checking compliance across business functions.

Salary banding is £31,000 to £40,000 per annum plus £4,800 car allowance. However, is negotiable for a candidate who can demonstrate experience within the industry and relevant accreditation bodies.
The successful applicant will also receive an enhanced holiday allowance. (24 days plus bank holidays), Death in Service insurance, employee assistance programme and an enhanced employer pension contribution. The candidate will be expected to work an average of 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday and we predominantly be working from home. Travel to our officers in London and Birmingham will be required as part of the role.
