Main responsibilities
Key tasks • To Ensure all Elliott Group Commercial and ISO9001 Processes and procedures are followed. • To Ensure the Delegation of Authority process is followed in all Bid and Contract awards. • Actively participate within the Bid and Sales process to ensure the final negotiated contractual position is acceptable to the Elliott Group Senior Management. • To Liaise with our Group legal on proposed Contract review • To negotiate mitigation with clients based upon Group Legal Risk assessment • To manage Financial, Contractual, Risk and legal control of contracts and sub-contract /consultant activities from Enquiry to completion of a project • Select, develop, retain, motivate, develop and hold accountable high caliber Commercial Administration and QS team. • Actively participate on the leadership team, embracing company culture, vision, and strategy. • Take responsibility for defining and embedding a Customer Focused culture within the Commercial Team aligned to the wider AS Vision and Values. • To ensure that secured sales are handed over to the appropriate delivery teams in an organized and structured manner • Participation in monthly Financial WIP and I & E contract reports. • To coordinated with Liaison with The finance team as necessary but to review any upcoming payments expected and any overdue debt. Taking action along with Credit Controllers as necessary to secure payment on time. • Effective liaison with directors and senior managers identifying and reporting commercial information. • To work in a safe and sensible manner within the boundaries of the Company Health and Safety Policy and any additional site restrictions.
Key factors for success (short-term, mid-term and long-term)
Success in 6 months will include: • Clear understanding of the Modular Hire structure and procedures. • Understanding of Hire contract integration with traditional construction based contracts Success in 1 year will include: • Fully competent with the job, having the ability to take on more tasks and responsibilities within the department • Excellent understanding of the products and services Elliott Modular Hire offer • Meeting KPI target set as Performance review objective Success in 3 years will include: • Fully developed within the role, with sufficient understanding to develop further within the business. • Influencing the strategic 5 year plan • A Record of exceeding KPI target set as Performance review objective
