Job Description

As the team administrator you will have experience of working within an administrative support role, as well as experience providing a high standard of customer service. The post holder will have an understanding of the issues faced by homeless people, with the ability to deal with challenging situations and individuals with a range of needs, in order to reach a positive resolution through a calm and confident approach.
During the current pandemic, duties may change in line with Covid secure delivery of services, but this role is building based. Flexibility and adaptability is necessary during these times as some working from home may be necessary.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully with disadvantaged or socially excluded groups and individuals. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written will be key, as well as working collaboratively within a team. As you will be the first point of contact for many people, you need to be friendly, enjoy helping and be willing to learn about Crisis and all the other activities taking place within the building. You will have good organizational skills with an ability to deal effectively with conflicting priorities, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook/Excel). To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in a busy environment and providing a high standard of customer service. The post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills, an understanding of the issues faced by homeless people and socially excluded groups, as well as the ability to deal with challenging situations and individuals with a range of needs. You will have strong administrative skills including using all Microsoft packages, be solution focused, resilient, have a high level of attention to detail and excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to successfully manage a busy and diverse workload and conflicting priorities.
