This project supports people with severe and multiple disadvantage. Beneficiaries are
people who have previously had poor experiences of engaging with mainstream services
and who may have needs relating to homelessness or inadequate housing, substance
misuse problems, offending histories or mental health issues.
The service works with beneficiaries from across Nottingham’s diverse communities
including BME, new and migrant communities, offering culturally sensitive and culturally
specific services and interventions.
This group of beneficiaries present challenges. The team and its members need to be
creative and flexible, patient and persistent, and, where required, assertive in their approach. We would also welcome applications from people with lived experience that would give an insight into the situation facing potential beneficiaries.
