Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll team. You will process and run your own monthly payroll; whilst providing escalation support for the Payroll Administrators and supporting the Payroll Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for a strong Administrator looking for the next step in their payroll career.

The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Accurate, efficient and timely processing of your specified payroll.
  • Driving towards full compliance of statutory legislation, company and department regulations.
  • You will drive strong control of payroll procedures; coaching other members of the team where full compliance is not achieved and sharing best practice.
  • Assisting with the checking of the hourly payrolls applying scrutiny and challenge where appropriate.

What you’ll get in return

The salary for this role is dependent on experience in addition to life assurance, bonus, a good company pension scheme plus 25 days holiday in addition to bank holiday (with the option to purchase up to 5 additional days). Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 5.00, Fridays 8.30 - 4.00.

You may be an experienced Payroll Administrator looking to develop your payroll career, or a Senior Administrator or Payroll Assistant looking for a new challenge in a fast paced team.
