Job Description

This role is responsible for leading and delivering the annual budgeting, planning and forecasting process as well as ensuring high quality and meaningful monthly financial performance reporting is delivered to and understood by the business.

The Finance Business Partner will provide robust financial modelling for business cases, strategic opportunities and competitive threats to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver financial performance management information reports to the business. Liaising with accounting on query resolution before publication

· Deliver meaningful variance analysis and provide gap closing plans in partnership with the management team of the business.

· Own the interpretation and communication of financial key performance indicators for the business (some supplied by other finance areas)

· Develop cost Centre reporting to ensure cost focus.

· Provide insight and analysis to Board reporting.

· Provide education and guidance to the business on all finance matters –translate finance concepts, risks and opportunities in a manner which is understood by non-finance professionals.

· End to end management and delivery of the business planning and forecast processes.

· Put in place and maintain appropriate models to support financial analysis within the business.

· Manage the profit assurance process, driving action to mitigate risks and crystalize opportunities.

· Finance lead on business projects. This will include but not limited to new business opportunities.

· Manage and develop direct reports.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) – preferably 3 years PQE · Strong data analytics with advanced excel and modelling skills. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience dealing with operations. · Strong commercial acumen. · Excellent problem-solving skills. · Flexible approach. Education: Bachelor's (Preferred).
