Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced, full time SME Finance Director / Manager based at our Derby facility. You will work closely with the Managing Director and board members providing advice on financial matters and as an active member of the senior management team you will be responsible for all financial activities of the business, including financial performance and governance and day to day leadership of our excellent finance team.

Manage all day to day financial and administration activities for the Yellow Rail business including financial reporting; invoicing and internal auditing of accounts in accordance with the Yellow Rail procedures.

Business and financial strategy and planning, monitoring, management and reporting, including management and development of policies, systems, processes and personnel involved.

Management of strategy for and liaison with investors (banks), external bodies (accountants) business press and business analyst’s community.

Provide financial leadership in the implementation of robust financial systems, budgeting, forecasting and planning process.

Advise the MD and Senior Management Team on all matters relating to financial performance.

Control all financial and accountancy matters including month end reports, management accounts, cash flow management, statutory accounts, compliance, presentation of management information and KPIs.

Support the business through change and growth periods, coordinating corporate finance, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions, as appropriate.

Financial and Administrative staff management, motivation, training, recruitment and selection where applicable.

Managing all company insurance, import/export administration, licensing, legal areas and activities, company level negotiations (eg premises, plant, trading, acquisitions and divestments, disposals).

Working with the MD, manage all financial forecasts and budget activities.

Advise the Board on all financial matters .

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be CIMA Qualified. Education: Bachelor's (Preferred). Experience: Management: 1 year (Preferred).
