Job Description
  • Undertake detailed planning of complex programme logistics, including multiple entry points. Maintain regular, consistent levels of contact with international partners, academic faculty and relevant University central services to deliver a seamless and high-quality student experience
  • Maintain robust administration processes that effectively take account of any necessary process variations that exist across partner institutions, and between Faculties within the University, developing tailored approaches and innovative solutions as required
  • Support the administration required in relation to the University’s quality assurance arrangements including preparing supporting documentation needed for validation events, annual programme monitoring, partnership reviews and revalidations concerning TNE partners
  • Support Faculties and TNE partners to manage and optimize the Learning Management System (CANVAS) interface
  • Collate data for quality assurance, accreditation, student progression monitoring and other purposes as required
  • Liaise with Faculty-based administrators and module coordinators to support operational activities ongoing at TNE partner institutions in accordance with partnership agreements and University requirements
  • Liaise with partnership staff regarding developmental opportunities and other considerations impacting on student experience
  • Liaise with partnership students regarding the services available to support their learning experience and the quality of their University lifecycle
  • Monitor student progression, attainment and experience across each of the points of delivery of programmes and provide reports for DIP and/or Faculty staff as required
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of up-to-date programme information from the relevant Faculties, including Faculty-approved mapping documents for articulation partnerships and programme specifications and module information for TNE partners, ensuring that these are prepared in a way which is timely, robust, in line with University policy and regulation
  • Inform University Admissions in a timely fashion for each recruitment cycle with accurate information on the programmes offered to students from each articulation partner
  • Work with Academic Registry to facilitate the smooth enrolment of TNE students onto programmes and modules and upon completion of studies, ensure transcripts and degree certificates are delivered in a timely fashion
  • Support Academic Registry in ensuring the smooth transition of students through progression processes and procedures through to conclusion of studies and graduation
  • Maintain a calendar of key events, including annual graduation celebrations, at TNE partners
  • Undertake business process improvement projects as determined by Academic Registry and the Faculty
  • Undertake any duties as required to meet business needs commensurate with the role and grade
  • Act as the main point of contact for TNE partners and partnership students, responding in a timely manner and with a high degree of professionalism
  • Take responsibility for monitoring IPT mailboxes, responding to enquiries or referring on as necessary
  • Organize and administer meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes as required
  • Develop and maintain partner summary records on a regular basis;
  • Undertake initial due diligence checks for new partnership proposals and in line with the University’s strategic goals and values
  • Co-ordinate student experience and quality assurance activities at TNE partner institutions such as Student-Staff Consultative Committees, Annual Monitoring Reviews, Module Reviews etc
  • Provide Committee support, such as the Partnership Management Committees, acting in a professional manner to enhance partner relations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent team working, inter-personal and creative problem-solving skills, with a friendly and positive ‘can do’ attitude. Track record of effective verbal and written communication with people from differing backgrounds, cultures and countries. A competent user of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. An honors degree. Working knowledge of the UK National Qualification Framework and QAA Quality Code. Experience working in a Quality Office and/or Partnership Office either centrally or based at a Faculty. Experience with international partnerships development and liaison. Personal experience studying/living abroad.
