Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for candidates looking for a rewarding and challenging career.

We are looking for an Account Administrator to work within the Business Development team.

You will work as part of the team, managing and supporting key accounts on all aspects of their requirements, whilst learning and developing commercial and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in providing technical & commercial service from enquiry to course delivery
  • Maintain appropriate records
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of quotations and bookings
  • Respond effectively to the business and client needs, maintaining excellent customer service
  • Monitor the performance of allocated projects and report on performance
  • Assist in the procurement of 3rd party suppliers, agreeing costs and payment term

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will be rewarded with your SCQF level 6 in business and administration. You will also learn more personal qualities such as; Good communication skills, both oral and written. Good organizational skills. Good interpersonal and customer service skills. An ability to work using own initiative within boundaries. An ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities. Good team-working skills. You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement An understanding on the importance of customer service, and how this impacts the business. Proactive and hands on approach, can do attitude. Enthusiastic and willing to learn. A good IT knowledge. Ability to work within a deadline driven environment. Ability to work as a member of a team and equally on own initiative. Strong administrational and coordination skills. Ability to think creatively to help define a solution. Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
