Job Description

The role is to join the Lettings team, playing a key part in ensuring properties are managed to the highest of standards. Our client prides themselves on having very high standards and enjoy a great reputation amongst landlords for ensuring properties are well maintained. This role is to continue that reputation, whilst gaining valuable first-hand knowledge of the industry.

The role is predominately office based, carrying out general Admin duties to ensure the smooth tenancy and service to landlord clients. In addition, part of the role will be to attend properties at the start and end of tenancy to carry out a full inventory.

You will be responsible for;

  • Carrying out detailed inventories of properties prior to a new tenant moving in.
  • Carrying out final inspections in properties after the current tenant vacates.
  • Compiling a detailed report of their findings and provide this to the outgoing tenant and the landlord.
  • Project managing any resulting remedial works to properties
  • Liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors.
  • Dealing with any repairs required on properties during vacant periods.

Naturally, you will have a full UK driving license and access to a car to attend property inspections. They will all be local to the Glasgow branch and likely to be 1-2 per day, carried out in the morning.

The role is office based, however, you will likely work from home at points depending on government guidelines. Parking is provided when using your car.

This is a full time role between Monday and Friday, no evening or weekends.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Naturally, to be successful in this role you will have: A great attention to detail. Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. An ability to self-manage and take initiative. Experience: Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred). License/Certification: Driving License and Access to a Car for work (required).
