Job Description

The successful candidate will have outstanding IT and administrative skills and be able to manage a varied workload. They will be able to communicate well with people from a range of different backgrounds and work flexibly and dynamic within a small team.

The post is a part-time permanent position, with hours to be discussed, but will require the successful applicant to cover alternative Saturdays. There is also the possibility of doing further commission-based work in relation to our training academy, this will be discussed at interview stage.

The post will commence on Tuesday the 20th of April 2021 in order to provide induction training in anticipation of the business re-opening on Tuesday the 27th of April 2021. Interviews will take place via zoom from Tuesday the 23rd of March to Friday the 26th of March 2021.

Salary will be discussed at interview.

The receptionist/Personal Assistant will:

1. Act as a first point of contact for customers interested in booking treatments in person, or via email or phone. They must be warm and welcoming, with good a telephone manner and competent written skills, fluent English and be very much people orientated.

2. Administer bookings for the clinic via our online booking diary and ensure the booking system is kept up to date.

3. Ensure each therapist is aware of their individual daily schedule and is notified of their client’s arrival.

4. Support the therapist with client management and general meet and greet activities, ensuring that the clients are made welcome and kept central to our whole operation.

5. Maintain a tidy reception and clinic environment

6. Promote the clinic via social media, clinic on-site notices and printed resources.

7. Be proficient in IT skills, including excel and word

8. Be able to work independently under your own initiative and also as part of a small team.

9. It is desirable that the successful candidate has a detailed knowledge of health and beauty industry

10. A minimum of a 1 year experience is required in a similar setting

Part-time hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers are required to wear a mask, max two people are allowed in the salon in the same time, all surfaces are cleaned regularly, hand sanitizers are available at the door
