Job Description

Responsible managing operational risk for a complex area of high, regulatory risk across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes. As a specialist group is responsible for managing a risk agenda focused on regulatory issues across the full scope of operational processes and products. The team works in a fast-paced, regulatory focused environment, investigating and resolving issues to minimize risk to the Firm and clients. This environment demands high performance from the individuals in the team and the work is varied, challenging and rewarding.

The team currently comprises 4 members of staff, 2 Vice Presidents, 1 Director, an Associate and a Consultant Director reporting to the Global Head of TTRO (a Managing Director).

You combine clear and appropriate escalation with suggestions on appropriate risk reduction strategies. You consistently exceed expectations and respond actively and positively to changing circumstances. The successful candidate will be expected to: Take ownership of the Transaction Reporting Governance agenda. Become a key point of contact for a wide range of internal stakeholders including senior management within TTRO, wider Operations, Technology and Data, the Business Unit and Legal and Compliance. Become a subject matter expert in transaction reporting across multiple regulations and have a working knowledge across asset products and processes developing this to expertise in specific areas. Develop knowledge on wider projects and initiatives in order to be able to connect the narrative across global transaction reporting. Develop and implement process improvements.
