Working as part of a small team you will have an integral role in the running of the payroll for the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to join a secure and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with all aspects of payroll within the business
Processing BACS payments
Ensure accuracy and integrity of all data in line with company standards
Keep up to date with HMRC legislation
Complete the payroll journal for posting to nominal ledger
Submitting all HMRC returns (RTI) and ensure payroll compliance
Produce reports for management
Assist with queries in relation to payroll matters
Provide support with P60 submissions
Provide relevant information regarding monthly payments to HMRC, pension providers and all other parties
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in payroll, experience of using STAR payroll would be desirable (but not essential) and be a team player.
