Job Description
  • Processing payroll on a monthly basis for over 130 staff.
  • Dealing with SSP, SMP, SPP, COVID and other payments.
  • Management information reporting in relation to staff absence.
  • Working closely with the Human Resources Team to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Dealing with NHS Pension additions, subtractions & reporting (NHS experience preferred).
  • Dealing with employee and HMRC queries.
  • Processing End of Year payroll.
  • Manage the Purchase Ledger.
  • Assisting with Sales Ledger.
  • Assisting with Nominal Ledger.
  • Assisting in Year End accounts.
  • Processing, Coding & Posting of Supplier Invoices.
  • Salary Payments by BACS.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Dealing with supplier queries.
  • Processing staff expenses.

Salary up to £24,000 dependent on experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience: A minimum of 12-18 months practical payroll experience. NHS GP Pension experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient user of Microsoft Office, Accounts and Payroll software. Experience: Practical Payroll: 1 year (required). NHS GP Pension: 1 year (required).
