Job Description

The Visitor Welcome Assistant is central to the delivery of an accessible and inclusive experience for our visitors. They will deliver a smooth, welcoming and informative visitor journey, ensure high standards of presentation in the Museum galleries and maintain a well-ordered shop. The Visitor Welcome Assistant also supports the visitor offer by providing administrative support, in particular with online ticketing systems and finance, as well as supporting the Museum’s public programme, including guided tours.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You must have great administrative and customer service skills, be able to communicate well across different mediums, and enjoy interacting with members of the public. Some experience with updating web content, and working with online ticketing systems would be an advantage, as would experience with basic financial administration.
