Job Description
  • Passionate about Employee Relations (ER), you will support the on-going delivery of a strong ER service. You will act as the primary interface with the ER service and in turn you will drive continuous improvement and embed learning amongst our ER Advisors and our business leaders.
  • Proactive in your approach, you will work with the People Business Partners and Advisory Partners to identify how to up-skill our line managers, ensuring that they are fully equipped to deal with ER cases professionally and in line with policy.
  • Leveraging your depth of knowledge and experience in case management, you will be the point of escalation for high risk cases.
  • Diligent and professional, you will be involved in the delivery of the People elements of business change activities. ensuring that our change processes are defined, documented and adhered to and effective consultation processes are planned and delivered appropriately.
  • Support business line/functional deep dive activities e.g. attrition, candidate/employee experience by collating the relevant MI and providing valuable analysis and insight to the People Business Partners and wider business.
  • Analytical in your approach to People Data, you will provide a diverse and comprehensive range of insights to your People Business Partners and business leaders, influencing People strategy.
  • Working closely with your People Business Partners , you will be heavily involved with all relevant People cyclical and transactional activity, including Talent and Succession and Performance Management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Significant Employee Relations experience; delivering expertise within a diverse range of business environments.
  • Extensive experience of acting as a senior advisor; working with multiple stakeholder groups within a matrix environment.
  • Transformative skills in people data analysis.
  • The energy and professionalism that builds credible and lasting business relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • The courage to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels, making decisions that are right for the business.
