Job Description

You will assist in management and closure of the month end reporting process and the production of the Monthly Profit statement (MPS) and Quarterly Financial reporting packs. Provide financial support, reporting and forecasting to the People and Property, Legal, and Finance business areas.

  • Responsible for completion and issuing of monthly reporting timetable.
  • Co-ordinate completion, review and submission of Monthly Performance Statement (MPS) and supporting financial analysis schedules including cash flow reforecast. Ensure these are submitted to group timelines and required standard.
  • Provide support to Financial Reporting Team Lead in completion of quarterly Consolidated Accounting Statement reporting. Including ability to act as cover for completion.
  • Handset receivable reporting.
  • Act as contact point for head office.
  • Provide financial business partnering support to People and Property, Legal, Finance and areas.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly accounts for Property and People, Legal and Finance directorates.
  • Responsible for monthly performance reporting to Property and People, Legal and Finance directorates. Providing input and analysis to ensure the functions operate within budget and forecast. Present same to directors of each area.
  • Responsible for forecasting and budgeting for Property and People, Legal, and other General and Admin areas.
  • Assist in the calculation, reporting and budgeting of bad debts expenses and provision across the business. Assist business in the management of bad debt costs, through effective reporting and financial analysis
  • The preparation and submission of various monthly, quarterly and annual returns to government and statistical bodies.
  • Management of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation tracking and reporting process. Ensure reporting completed on time and to required standard.
  • Assisting in the on-going development and refinement of processes and implementation of financial reporting policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintenance of the chart of accounts.
  • Management of the oracle user access process.
