Job Description

The main focus for this role is to drive sales and grow a strong relationship within the pharmaceutical market. Being the one point of contact for these customers at headquarter level to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty. Company is in control of independently developing, growing and maintaining their area of Key Accounts. Collect knowledge and understanding of the selected key account and develop the key account plan to guide the structured key account engagement with the whole organization

  • Develop industrial/market knowledge to successfully drive commercial activities.
  • Support the team to develop our deep understanding of end-user process, needs and pains to more effectively develop our value selling approach directly with end-user
  • Introduce new products and solutions to the customers.
  • Develop knowledge to be able to able to sell digital solutions – explaining the benefit for the different customer groups within the Key Accounts.
  • Identify different stakeholders (decision-makers) and utilise the right approach to drive sales development.
  • Ensure quality opportunity pipeline and strong hit rate.
  • Proactively follow up, analyze and report on Key Accounts and ensure regular dialogues.
  • Monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability and drive debt collections
  • Review substantial quotations and project bids.
  • Ensure knowledge sharing with the team and take responsibility for their own competence development.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks or projects as and when required.

  • Reports to our Director Industry Europe.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You would have excellent communication skills, be able to hold an audience but really listen to our customers, fully understand their needs and have the technical knowledge to advise and proceed as needed. Being able to communicate both verbally and written to a range of stakeholders at various levels, including internationally.

  • Good in working with CRM and MS office, specifically Excel for analysing purposes.
  • Able and willing to travel across Europe.
  • Ideally, you hold a Bachelor in engineering and/or business
  • Relevant experience and knowhow of pump solutions from a large international company ideally working within pharmaceutical industries
  • A good understanding of Pharmaceutical industry trends, key players and production processes, ideally with an industry background (Pharmaceutical)
  • Experience of working in B2B with end-users
