Job Description
  • First point of contact for any HR and pay related queries and issues
  • Extract and manipulate data for payroll activity and HR reporting
  • Process monthly payroll for all UK employees alongside third party provider, in a timely, effective, and accurate manner
  • Process new starters, leavers and changes in salary entitlements
  • Generate employment contracts for new starters
  • Support with the management of benefit schemes, including registering of employees
  • Liaise with pension providers to set up and maintain auto-enrolment accurately
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and complete personnel files through the HRIS
  • Produce letters for any change of terms, i.e. role changes, work pattern changes, probation passes, resignation etc.
  • Support with onboarding administration i.e. pre-employment checks
  • Support the delivery of day one HR induction to all new starters
  • Support with ad hoc projects in line with the HR goals and people strategy
  • Keep up to date with legislative changes and required updates to Company policies and procedures, e.g. sickness, holiday, eligibility to work
  • Deliver a consistent HR approach across the Company by working closely with all stakeholders
  • Look to understand HR best practice, contributing to the ongoing improvement of HR and Payroll processes and procedures

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Payroll administrator (or similar role)
  • CIPD qualified or working towards (or equivalent experience)
  • High level IT skills, with experience of managing HR systems, data extraction and manipulation preferably with Excel and G-Suite applications
  • Be highly organized, with strong attention to detail and able to priorities competing demands
  • Excellent interpersonal skills a practical ‘can do’ attitude
  • Be able to deal with sensitive information with empathy and utmost confidentiality
