Job Description
  • Account Management: Develop key relationships with clients and be the first point of contact should issues arise.
  • Winning New Service Contracts: Secure new contract sales in accordance with annual targets by meeting with clients, establishing their needs and negotiating appropriate contracts.
  • Generating Proposals and Managing Enquiries: Carries out prospecting for new clients through the use of the Company's market information tools. Through analysis of enquiry specifications and working with local offices to ensure sales quote reflects agreements reached. Ensures final contract is signed off by the client through attending Pre-Tender, Post Tender and Pre-Contract meetings.
  • Product & Market Knowledge Development: Develops knowledge of the complete portfolio. Should be able to recommend the appropriate contract to meet the customer's needs. Should develop excellent knowledge of competitors in the local area.
  • Prepare tender proposal using company tools: Submit tenders in accordance with the deadline indicated in the tender documents. Review tender documents received from builders/architects/consultants. Review contract terms and conditions. Respond to post tender queries from the client representatives. Attend post tender interview as required. Attend pre-award meetings on-site or at the customer's office as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • University degree (preferably engineering and/or construction)
  • Sales professional with at least 3-4 year’s experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a fast-paced dynamic organization
  • Ability to priorities workload to meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude, proactive, flexible and adaptable
  • Willing to grow and learn from the business
  • Strong analytical skills and systems-driven approach
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
