Job Description

You will support the delivery of a professional and effective HR service. They will assist in coordinating HR policies and processes, and provide administrative support to HR Advisers and Business Managers as required, including preparing packs of documents, drafting letters and attending meetings as a note taker, and they will provide administrative support for HR exercises as required.

You will support the general development of the HR Division, working on the more common and recurring HR issues under readily available guidance and supervision, and they will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of HR services available to the University. They will collate and analyze HR and payroll data as required by HR Advisers or other HR colleagues, and maintain and update HR records via an electronic management system.

The successful applicants will be educated to A-level standard/NVQ level 3 or have an equivalent level of practical experience. They should be able to demonstrate a broad experience in an administrator role within a service orientated environment and be used to administering a high volume of tasks working to tight deadlines.

They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional levels of accuracy, and be dedicated to a culture of driving continuous improvement. They should have experience of using Microsoft Office and be able to demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
