Job Description

You will be Secretary of the Degree Committee and help to shape and implement departmental policy for Graduate Studies related matters. You will be the key contact on all matters concerning Graduate Students and have management responsibility for the Graduate Office, including the four administrative staff.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a good standard of numeracy and good IT skills, together with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to manage and prioritise a varied and heavy workload is essential as well as the ability to work as part of a team and provide clear leadership. Experience and knowledge of higher education administration, preferably including committee work, is desirable.
