Job Description
The role is the key link between Finance and the Projects. To provide financial support to the project teams and ensure financial control is maintained across the business. Act as a point of escalation for Project Financial issues and the main point of contact for the central finance team.
- Preparation of internal reporting requirements, including Financial Reporting, forecasting, identifying risks/opportunities, development of project-specific reporting
where required.
- Create and manage change requests to the customer when out of scope works are required.
- Main point of contact back into the customer for finance control
- Main point of contact for project finance
- Ensure central finance team are kept up to date on project finances and any issues escalated appropriately and in a timely manner
- Approving costs through SAP ensuring quality and control standards are met and resolving any queries with the project team.
- Ensure that company financial controls are followed within the project teams.
- Ensuring that all project billing is completed well within month end submission.
- Keep all finance trackers and company databases/tools up to date
