Job Description

You will provide them with site financial insight to enable Group Finance’s activities to be carried out accurately and efficiently. You will also work closely with the site’s Plant Manager in leading the improvement and delivery of the site’s financial performance. Assisting in strategic planning, site forecasting and providing financial insight into business cases you will play a key role on site to enable the decision-making process of the Plant Manager and Site Leadership Team.
What will I be doing?

  • You will analyze the site’s financial and non-financial data to drive insight on performance and influence the site process managers to make performance improvements.
  • Prepare budgets / Forecasts by product, including Volumes, Manufacturing standards, Factory Variances, Factory fixed costs, and Capex / Inventory. Challenging site to improve performance and reduce costs at all stages.
  • You will be responsible for site period reporting, analyzing and explaining variances to budget / forecast
  • Site Business Partnering
  • FX Forecasting
  • Tracking of headcount against budget
  • COM responsibilities (Daily level 1, H&S walks, TIP reviews)
  • Monitor and adapt internal financial control procedures as businesses processes evolve
  • Primary point of contact for external / internal financial auditors
  • Improve closed job analysis information and provide to Divisional Finance teams in a timely manner
  • Line management for onsite Finance Team
  • Support the Divisional leadership team, executing the strategy for Currency in terms of the Central Bank and Security Features/Polymer propositions
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support effective decision making and to provide input as required to the annual strategic planning cycle
  • Support and follow the governance and operational disciplines applicable across the group

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Professional finance qualification
  • Experience of accounting in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience of working with ERP systems desired
  • Experience of managing financials for Capex projects desirable
  • Management accounts experience
  • Cost Accounting knowledge and experience
  • Proven track record of business improvement and managing change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven influencing and collaborative skills
  • Team management / leadership experience
