Job Description

This is the perfect role for somebody who is currently working in an administrative role but is looking to take that next step into an office management/ P.A. position. You will work alongside the current Office Manager/ PA who has done this role for 5+ years until she progresses into project management (within the next 12 months) when you will be handed the reins to run the office and be full time P.A. to the Directors.

Your first 12 months will look like:

  • Up to 3 months – training period of learning the processes, procedures, company systems and Director requirements
  • 3 – 6 months – Making business decisions autonomously and bringing your own ideas to the company and the Board
  • 6 – 12 months – Complete handover of role from the current Office Manager/ PA who will give you free rein but rest assured, she is there if you need the support/ queries answered

This is that next step that 80% of businesses in Manchester don’t offer an Administrator because somebody is doing the role and not leaving or because they don’t have the capacity – this is why this role is the diamond all Administrators search for.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You must hold a couple of years’ experience in a varied administration role (some PA or office management responsibilities would be a bonus!) and want to be in a role where one minute you could be organizing and minute taking a Board meeting and the next be working on a companywide project.
