Job Description

In the role key responsibilities will include

• Supporting our external technical Engineering / sales team, liaising with customers & suppliers, and offering administrative support

• Effectively deal with customer enquiries via phone & email, from RFQ requests through to order placement and completion

• Sourcing product and pricing from external suppliers

• Liaise between manufacturing product partners & customers too efficiently answer general questions concerning lead times, deliveries and pricing.

• Maximise sales and opportunities through value added product & service to all incoming and outgoing customer engagement.

• Assess stock levels, back orders, offer customer support and handle arising issues as a focus point of contact for nominated customers.

• In addition to the customer service role there may ad hoc requirements to assist in our busy logistics team, accepting deliveries, booking goods in, picking goods


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate for our Customer Service Advisor position will have the following

• Experience of a customer service / sales office environment

• Computer literate - Microsoft Office packages, social media platforms

• Team player - strong team skills and the ability to interact well with colleagues & customers alike

• A solution-based approach to our customer’s requirements

• Basic engineering knowledge would be beneficial but it not essential

• A high attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

• Strong administration skills
