Job Description
You will be required to cover five weeks’ holiday leave for the receptionist based at your main location. You will be expected to cover any sickness leave for this person, whenever possible. Overtime at your normal rate will be paid for this.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the everyday running of reception
- Perform a meet and greet function in reception, both face to face and by telephone
- Welcome visitors, issuing of forms and directing clients to the correct department
- Operate switchboard and take messages as required
- Signpost clients to appropriate services within the city (including ILP services)
- Assist with data entry on the Charity Log CRM System.
- Provide a non-judgmental, caring & understanding attitude to people from diverse backgrounds, age ranges and disabilities
- Undertake typing as required using Microsoft Word
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases
- Create documents in Microsoft Publisher and PowerPoint if required
- Support with weekly Health & Safety processes including co-ordinating of Fire Drills and updating of Fire Logbook.
- Maintain the safe and petty cash system
- Assist with mail receipt and sending
- Maintain confidentiality regarding client and ILP information
- Carry out any other tasks which may be within the scope of the post to ensure the effective delivery and the needs of the charity.
