Job Description

Reception and customer service experience essential. Experience of a computer booking system and cash handling an advantage. The job entails taking calls, booking appointments via the phone and face to face. Taking payments and cashing up, organizing the diary efficiently, dealing with customer enquiries and recording there data safely.

MAIN OBJECTIVES:

  • Ensure the brand ethos are represented at all time
  • Focus on the salon’s growth by ensuring the overall agreed strategy is met
  • Successfully implementing company policy
  • Developing strategic plans
  • When booking appointments, maximize revenue by offering an upgraded version of the treatment requested.
  • Always offering to put a client on the cancellation list if a treatment isn’t available at the time requested. Constantly checking the cancellation list to see if a client can be given an appointment.
  • Maintain an exceptional knowledge of all treatments, packages, products and promotions.
  • Consistently adhere to the salon’s standards and protocols.
  • When greeting clients always ensure their contact information is correct and up to date. If a new client making sure they have filled out a client form, offering correct drinks, ensure the smooth running of the therapist taking the client into the treatment.
  • Continuously update your own knowledge of products and treatments, outside of formal training.
  • Ensure that the correct time is booked out for treatments and is reflective of the client’s needs and therapist’s capability to allow full capacity of treatment bookings.
  • Ensure the till has the correct monies. Report any discrepancies to the line manager.
  • Communicate with the Salon manager with the day to day running of the salon.
  • Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene as per grooming guidelines.
  • Must adhere to training and protocols as set down by the Owner and attend all training courses as deemed necessary
  • Demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times, particularly with regard to punctuality, appearance and general manner.
  • Show a strong level of enthusiasm and positivity to all team members to create a positive working environment.
  • Deal with customer complaints in the appropriate matters according to the SOP manual
  • Answer social media & website enquiries from the salon software when required.
  • Send out emails from the computer database with appointments available & promotions
