Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Receptionist to join a leading investment firm seeking a professional, motivated and experienced individual to act as the first point of contact within their office, based in Manchester city Centre.

Duties:

  • Answering all incoming calls and directing as necessary including fielding cold/sales calls in a polite manner and relaying accurate messages promptly via email
  • Greeting incoming visitors in a timely manner
  • Ensure meeting rooms are presentable in readiness for client meetings
  • Ensure smooth co-ordination of meeting room bookings via MS Outlook
  • Record all on-site visitors
  • Ensure all office stationary is replenished and kept up to date
  • Visitor record completed daily for incoming meetings/visitors
  • Ensure communal areas are always tidy and presentable
  • Managing office staff key fobs / visitor fob access
  • Office admin duties as required, such as printing and binding
  • Distributing and stamping incoming post
  • Hand delivery of documents as required to client/post office
  • Providing ad-hoc admin support to the wider team as/when required
  • Creating weekly log documents to support weekly meetings via CRM
  • Monthly finance data inputting
  • Managing website queries
  • Assisting the Office Manager with office management related tasks

This is a permanent, office based, role working the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. The salary on offer is up to £22,000.00 per annum, dependent upon experience, plus benefits.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The right person will have excellent organizational skills, be a great communicator, with a bright and bubbly persona and previous experience working within a fast-paced, corporate environment is essential in order to be considered for this role. Previous financial services experience would be ideal, however, the right personality fit and can-do attitude is more important.
