Job Description

We are a large, enthusiastic and supportive practice looking to hire a Reception Administrator to join our friendly reception team. Previous experience of GP practice and EMIS systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

You must be able to work under pressure, be organized and have good communication skills to be a part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team. You must be able to travel between the two branches and available to work at either of the sites.

The main aspect of the role is to ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any visitors to the practice, this includes answering the phone, dealing with enquiries, explaining procedures and arranging appointments. Other daily tasks include summarizing patients’ medical records, processing prescriptions, registering patients and chaperoning. Finally, undertaking any other general duty that may be necessary such as franking post and filing.
