Job Description

You will be working as part of a small but busy team, therefore you must have excellent team working skills. You will be responsible for the daily completion of admin tasks and are expected to cover reception. Being that you will be the first point of contact for the clinicians and the patients, you will need to be an excellent communicator with a friendly and approachable manner.

Your role will be to;

  • Provide administrative support to clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and sort through all incoming post
  • Draft and send patient letters
  • Handle administrative requests and queries from senior managers
  • Organize and schedule patient appointments
  • Maintain office policies and procedures and ensure compliance with the procedures
  • Update patient records using relevant software and codes
  • Answer patient queries and ensure quality customer service

Admin experience is preferred however not essential as full training will be given. There will be plenty of opportunities for development and promotion within the practice and at partner sites.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
