Job Description
  • Supervising Entry and Exit of all Community Users
  • Provide a high standard of customer service at all times
  • Ensure all community users are signed into the building
  • To produce regular monitoring reports and use a variety of analysis tools to evidence outcomes and demonstrate impact
  • To capture and record participation data efficiently
  • To assist the finance department with invoicing processes
  • Administration of taking bookings and updating Academy calendars
  • Reporting all Health and Safety issues to the Site Manager/Community Manager
  • Encouraging positive behavior and forming relationships with community groups
  • Ensure all borrowed equipment is put back at the end of the evening
  • Follow Academy procedures
  • Ensure any child protection concerns are passed on immediately to Safeguarding
  • Promote and implement equality and diversity.
  • Participate in Performance review
  • Comply with legislation and adhere to our policies and procedures.
  • Have due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Contribute to the fulfilment of our vision, ethos and strategic plan.
  • Attend appropriate meetings, both within the Academy and as appropriate to your role.
  • Respect confidentiality. Confidential information should be kept in confidence and not released to unauthorized persons.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Good basic education to GCSE level in literacy and numeracy, or the equivalent
  • Previous experience of working in administration 
  • Experience of using ICT 
  • Experience of working in education 
  • Ability to be a positive role model for learners
  • High standard of use of English language
  • Ability to communicate effectively and develop professional relationships with internal colleagues
  • Evidence of effective organizational skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure 
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member 
  • The will to model the values of the Academy at all times and to generate a shared purpose
  • A commitment to community cohesion and social inclusion
