Job Description
  • The key aspect of the role is to Business Partner with two Business Units to produce the monthly Management Accounts along with the accompanying analysis and reports to the regional HQ, in addition to the preparation of Annual Budgets, Monthly forecasts & relevant Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Responsible to produce Monthly Management A/Cs for two Business Units ensuring figures are accurate, reliable, timely and all key variances are fully investigated and explained.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports to Regional HQ. Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of the Management Accounts.
  • Support and Challenge the Business Units in their current financial performance and outlook by highlighting Risks and Opportunities.
  • Liaise with the Business units with the preparation and submission of Annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Support the Finance Manager with Balance Sheet reporting and forecast for Business Units.
  • Act as the Finance Departments representative for Business Units project implementation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACMA/ACCA)
  • Experience of and confidence in dealing with senior personnel
  • Excellent analytical and advanced Excel skills.
  • A good working knowledge of SAP preferred but not essential
  • Mandatory Previous Experience
  • Experience of Management Accounts reporting
  • Desirable Previous Position/ Rotation
  • Experience of working in a financial role in a large business desirable
