Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to support some of the world’s leading scientists in a varied role. You will provide generalist HR administration, with a focus to actively manage the paperwork process for new starters and visitors, recruitment processes including placing advertisements, generating letters to applicants, preparing short listing packs, interview arrangements and onboarding. The post is part-time 18.25 hours per week and available immediately. The successful candidate will have the option of some remote working in a role.

 


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be educated to A level standard with GCSE (grade A-C) level English and Math, or equivalent, with experience of working in an HR team/HR role. An up-to-date knowledge of employment law (including equality, capability, discipline, dismissal, and redundancy), with the ability to clearly and accurately communicate processes and procedures verbally and in writing are essential. The ability to organize and priorities your workload and produce accurate, detailed work within deadlines is key to the role. Knowledge of Right to Work in the UK and immigration/visa routes is desirable.
