Job Description

The role carries some physical demands such as picking up and moving equipment in storage areas, these items are usually less than 15kg. You will:

  • Support the Procurement, Inventory Management, Disposal and Governance processes using the tools available.
  • Support the definition and enforcement of Asset Management policy & processes.
  • Support of all areas both with and as part of the team function and with counterparts / stakeholders both in & outside to achieve objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders/partners.
  • Uses available tools to maintain accurate records of IT Assets in support of the business and audit requirements.

  • Proactively use insight and experience to create solutions to meet challenges across Business Support responsibilities with wider impact
  • Facilitate internal & external meetings, producing outputs based on the meeting content.
  • Partners with the internal and other functions as required to deliver outcomes to the mutual benefit of the organization.
  • Manage small-sized initiatives as an individual contributor with SME knowledge within this role.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Have an inquisitive nature (ability and aptitude to self-investigate & learn).
  • Have intermediate data analysis and presentation skills in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau or BI Desktop.
  • Have a foundational understanding of governance models and framework.
  • Be able to demonstrate success in identifying and reporting on areas for potential process improvements.
  • Have strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Have a high degree of self-organization, prioritization, and workload management.
  • Experience in the Payments Industry and some understanding of payment systems e.g., BACS, LINK, FPS, ICS, IPS.
  • Understanding of ITIL Practices.
  • Experience or 3rd parties and the associated management frameworks.
  • Experience with IT Asset Tools such as CMDB & Fixed Asset Registers.
