Job Description

You will focus on managing company risk and mitigating the financial impact, while driving excellence in delivering expatriate compensation will increase efficiencies and the overall Associate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with payrolls globally and stay updated on payroll changes (i.e., consolidation of payrolls across countries and segments, implementation of new payroll systems).
  • Onboard new payrolls in respect of cross-border associates and support in creating mobility payroll codes.
  • Project manage our global compensation delivery and collection process. This will include working with our internal payroll stakeholders and the Tax Provider ensuring KPI’s and service delivery levels are met.
  • Ongoing focus on process design improvements and efficiencies.
  • Responsible for updates to Cost Projections at the template level within the system.
  • Develop and maintain the shadow payroll requirements manual for new payroll and tax requirements.
  • Work closely with payrolls globally and Tax Provider on implementing shadow payroll reporting.
  • Serve as a consultant on the annual Long-Term Incentives (LTI) cross-border project for our impacted associates.
  • Using knowledge of each country payroll system and process, explore automation of payroll instructions and interface with payroll systems for processing cross border awards.
  • Responsible for training service delivery and setting clear expectations around international payroll processes and Balance Sheet compliance / best practices.
  • Provide feedback and suggested process enhancements to Mobility Tax team in tax and payroll related areas.
  • Work with multiplate stakeholders with a focus on managing risk for the business, creating efficiencies and identifying optimization opportunities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or a related field; or
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) or equivalent.
  • At least 5 + years of relevant experience covering cross-border tax, payroll and global mobility aspects.
  • International payroll and global employment tax experience is required.
  • Multinational company experience is preferred.
