Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers
Lead periodic partner business reviews, both face-to-face and remote
Manage escalations
Collaborate with the sales team to reach prospective clients
Negotiate and conclude deals with partners in conjunction with the Sales Director.
Confident in liaising with and presenting to clients
Good at writing project proposals
Identify opportunities to grow business with existing and new clients
Forecast and track client account metrics
Operate as the point of contact for assigned clients
Through active market knowledge, identify and develop opportunities; geographical, product gaps, solutions for customer problems etc.
Produce and analyse data relating to said opportunities that will assist the management in monitoring company performance and anticipating customer requirements and market trends.

Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent business experience
Previous Business Development manager experience.
Must be a, "Hunter" not a "Farmer".
Experience with Business technical sales - preferably within the telecoms / power sector
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Proven ability to communicate effectively with all teams and at all levels, both internally and externally
Excellent analytical skills.
Experience in CRM software and MS Office, especially Excel.
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A keen interest in technology
Knowledge of optical fibre and cabinet Integration would be an advantage.
Able to work alone and as part of a team
You will be required to attend the office on a regular basis, especially in the early days, to learn the companies products and services and to interact with other members of the team.
Ability to work from the office with travel as required.
