Job Description
  • Research to identify potential new broker agents within target market sectors.
  • Develop relationships with new brokers to enhance our broker panel.
  • Monitor and maintain relationships with existing brokers.
  • Implement business development, marketing and PR campaigns in line with company objectives.
  • Assistance with creation of marketing material and activities to support business development.
  • Present new products and services to broker panel.
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Manage internal CRM logs and marketing distribution lists.

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Increase sales activity.
  • Delivery of agreed sales and marketing strategy.
  • Ensure data is accurately recorded and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
  • Comply with all FCA regulations as per the companies’ policies and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience within a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of competitor market in the insurance field.
  • Experience or understanding of commercial, leisure and construction products advantageous.
  • CII Qualified advantageous.
