Job Description

The role is responsible and accountable for daily, weekly, monthly and annual inventory processes which include Stock Reconciliations and investigations, quarantine products, disposal requirements and annual stock count procedures. Working directly with the Manager to optimize stock in various locations and to minimize stock loses/disposals by actively working closely with the Product Managers, Quality, Logistics, Finance as well as their 3rd party Warehousing providers. The role will also include the following activities:

  • Responsible for delivering the monthly stock reconciliation including full investigations and resolution of discrepancies in coordination with our 3PL partners
  • Execute daily, weekly and monthly inventory analysis and investigations, ensuring that they are brought to a close in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for assigning the year end stock counts across all warehouses and ensuring that these are closed out in timely manner and all information is presented to the auditing partner as required
  • Provide full traceability of investigations and stock movements.
  • Ensure that damages are accounted for, liability is assigned and invoiced correctly
  • Liaise with Quality on non-conforming product and assign whether it can be made free for sale or assigned to disposal.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers on aging and obsolescence
  • Liaise with Quality & Logistics to arrange physical disposal of stock in accordance with our quality & regulatory procedures
  • Improve communications between our 3PL partners and Company on stock management
  • Collaborate on the monthly service reviews and ensure that corrective actions are assigned and closed out
  • Ensure that the monthly KPI’s on stock accuracy, quarantined and disposal stock are reported and corrective actions are identified, communicated and monitored to ensure continuous improvement throughout the year.
  • Perform periodic quality stock check at the main distribution warehouses in Europe and UK
  • Ensure that stock for samples is captured and written off accordingly in conjunction with Finance and the BDA team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will be working frequently from the Warehouse locations either in the UK or Europe. Hybrid working from the London office when not travelling. Must have Stock Control experience and a broad knowledge of Inventory Control Methodology, Cycle Counting, XYZ/ABC analysis etc. Excellent IT literacy within ERP systems and experience in FMCG essential. You will be self-motivated, flexible and able to adapt to changes in circumstances, difficult and challenging situations. Good business acumen and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate. Excellent opportunity to work for a sought after company.
