NHS Greater Huddersfield CCG and NHS North Kirklees CCG are currently separate statutory organisations although do work closely and have in recent years implemented shared management arrangements. The practice members of each CCG have recently voted to progress a formal merger of the CCGs and it is intended the merger will take effect from 1 April 2021, subject to final approval by the CCG regulator, NHS England/Improvement. For candidates this means that should you be successfully employed by either Greater Huddersfield CCG or North Kirklees CCG, and be in employment before 1 April 2021, your employment may transfer to the nascent NHS Kirklees CCG.
